You’ll deliver practical cleaning training within a secure prison environment, helping people build confidence, skills, and real pathways to employment after release. Working closely with the Industries and Vocational Training teams, you’ll balance coaching, supervision, and safety with care and respect.

As a Vocational Trainer – Cleaner in the Industries team, you’ll make a positive impact by:delivering and evaluating cleaning training programs for adult learnerssupporting inmates to develop employable skills and positive work habitssupervising daily activities to meet safety, security, and production standardsmanaging tools, equipment, audits,



and safe work practicesencouraging participation in training and purposeful workreporting incidents and contributing to sentence management outcomes

You Could Be a Great Fit If You HaveCertificate III in Cleaning Operations with relevant hands-on experience in the industrial cleaning spaceexperience training, mentoring, or supporting adult learnerssound knowledge of WHS in a workshop or commercial environmentstrong communication skills and a calm, respectful approachcultural awareness and the ability to work with diverse backgroundsCertificate IV in Training and Assessment, or willingness to obtain
