We are seeking an experienced legal accounts professional to join our firm.

The opportunity:

This is a critical position within our firm. You will take on a broad, all-encompassing finance role, that will include:

- Managing trust and office accounts

- Daily receipting and allocation of trust monies

- Reconciling trust, office, and credit card transactions

- Debtors and creditors

- Profit and loss/balance sheet

- End to end payroll processing

- Debt collection

- Liaising with external accountants and auditors

- Supporting compliance and financial reporting

- Support the firm's billing processes

- Perform other ad-hoc finance and administrative duties as needed

About you: skills and experience

- Prior experience in legal trust accounting (essential)





- Prior experience using LEAP and Xero (preferable)

- Strong understanding of legal trust account rules and requirements

- Able to work independently and report to principal of the firm

- Strong attention to detail

- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented

The Offer

- 3–5 days per week (flexible schedule)

- Immediate start available: Replacing long-term, current accounts’ manager (ideally commence transition ASAP)

- Salary negotiable
