Perth Multi Electrics is seeking a casual Administration and Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in Malaga, WA. This is a casual position with flexible hours. As an Accounts Assistant, you will provide essential support to our accounting department, ensuring accurate financial records and efficient day-to-day operations. This role is pivotal in maintaining the financial integrity of our organisation and supporting our wider business objectives.
What you'll be doing
- Processing invoices, purchase orders and expense claims in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintaining and reconciling financial records
- Data entry of financial transactions into accounting systems
- Preparing documentation for accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Supporting the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Filing and organising financial documents and records
- Performing general administrative tasks to support the accounting function
- Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers regarding financial matters
What we're looking for
- Previous expereince in administration, data entry, or accounts
- Solid attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Proficiency with Xero and Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel)
- Competency in basic bookkeeping principles and practices
- Good numerical aptitude and the ability to work with financial data accurately
- Professional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Reliability and the ability to meet deadlines consistently
- A willingness to learn and develop accounting knowledge and skills
