What you'll do:
- Deliver high-quality care in line with care plans, policies, and ANMC standards
- Provide personal care and support to meet residents’ physical, emotional, and environmental needs
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with scope of practice
- Follow direction of Registered Nurses and escalate clinical concerns appropriately
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Communicate clinical updates clearly and confidentially to relevant stakeholders
- Practise within scope, ensuring accountability and adherence to policies and procedures
- Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge through ongoing professional development
- Provide supervision and guidance to staff, volunteers, and students as required
- Support induction of new and agency staff
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality care initiatives
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Report incidents promptly in line with reporting requirements
- Act as senior staff member on shift when required, including responding to emergencies
- Follow Quality Management and Work Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Identify and report workplace hazards to maintain a secure environment
- Uphold strict privacy and confidentiality standards at all times
- Undertake additional duties as required within scope of role.
Essential:
- National Police Clearance - aged care specific & NDIS Clearance
- First Aid Certificate / CPR
- Current registration with no conditions with AHPRA
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Desirable:
- Experience in residential aged care
