Service Technician – Commercial Refrigeration

Ultra Refrigeration is growing and we’re looking for a qualified Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician who values quality workmanship, clear standards, and professional diagnostics.

We work collaboratively, support each other in the field, and stay focused on delivering the right outcome every time.

The Role

As a frontline representative of Ultra Refrigeration, you’ll be trusted to manage your work professionally and deliver real solutions for our clients.

You will be responsible for:

- Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial refrigeration systems

- Attending metro sites and occasional regional work

- Delivering qualified, solutions‑focused service to customers

- Completing job sheets, reports, and timesheets using digital systems

- Working safely in line with NSW WHS and Australian Refrigeration Standards

- Maintaining tools, equipment, and provided service vehicle

- Participating in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours support
(shared across the team, with paid standby and backup support when required)

You’ll work independently in the field, while being supported by a structured service team and leadership that understands the trade.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for technicians who take pride in their work and ownership of their jobs.

Essential requirements:

- Cert III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (minimum)





- Current Supervisor/Contractor licence

- Current ARCtick licence

- Current NSW driver’s licence

- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills

- Clear communication and a customer‑focused approach

- Comfortable using digital field service systems (e.g. AroFlo or similar)

Highly regarded:

- Experience in commercial refrigeration environments

- A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset

- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team
