About the role

ARA Security is seeking a talented Project Engineer to join our team in our Sydney office. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our security infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This full time position will allow you to utilise your strong technical expertise and project management skills to make a meaningful impact on the company and our clients.

What you'll be doing

- Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of security infrastructure projects from inception to completion

- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into detailed project plans

- Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection

- Ensure projects adhere to all relevant safety, legal, and regulatory requirements

- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders

- Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot issues and implement innovative solutions

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our project delivery processes and templates

What we're looking for

- Degree in Engineering, with a focus on electrical, mechanical, or security systems

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar project engineering role, preferably in the security or construction industries





- Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex security infrastructure projects

- Proficient in project management methodologies and the use of project management software

- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of security systems and technologies

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals

- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
