Key Responsibilities
As the Administration Officer, you will provide administrative support across the PALM Scheme, farm operations and general business functions. Your responsibilities will include:
PALM Scheme Administration
- Maintain accurate PALM worker records, files and compliance documentation.
- Process visa applications and update PALM portal information as per Palm Deeds.
- Coordinate worker arrivals, departures, travel, accommodation and appointment bookings.
- Assist with bank account and TFN applications, arrival, departure and welfare administration.
- Organise Palm worker accommodation maintenance, supplies and company bus servicing.
- Prepare recruitment documentation, yield reports and other PALM administration.
- Update piece rate spreadsheet and record hours.
Farm & Office Administration
- Maintain vehicle registrations, equipment registers.
- Coordinate vehicle servicing, mobile phone setup and Telstra accounts.
- Prepare fuel reports, weekly hours spreadsheets and operational reports.
- Maintain insurance, sponsorship, grain, cotton and harvest administration records.
- John Deere, LDC and Broadbent portal administration.
- Bookings, meetings, minutes and business travel.
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems and assist with document preparation.
- Provide administrative support to the People & Culture Manager and Operational Managers.
- Prepare correspondence, reports and spreadsheets with a high level of accuracy.
- Order office supplies, manage incoming deliveries and undertake general office administration.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative systems and processes.
Perform other administrative duties to support the efficient operation of the business.

Working alongside Jemalong Citrus and Grove Juice, our vertically integrated business supplies premium Australian produce to domestic and international markets.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an administration, office support or coordination role.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when maintaining records and processing documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- The ability to quickly learn new software systems and online portals.
- A proactive, reliable and adaptable approach with robust problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- A high level of confidentiality, professionalism and integrity when handling sensitive information.
- A current Australian Driver Licence.
Desirable not essential
- Certificate III or IV in Business Administration or a related qualification.
- Experience working in agriculture, horticulture or a rural business.
- Experience with the PALM Scheme or visa administration.
- Experience with government or industry portals and online compliance systems.
- Understanding of Australian employment legislation and workplace compliance requirements.
