The Casino Food Company Limited is a leading export-focused food processor with facilities in Casino and Booyong near Lismore, in the Northern Rivers region of the NSW Far North Coast.
We have an exciting chance for a Canteen/Laundry Assistant to join the team at our Booyong Pork Processing facility. This role will predominantly organise and operate the onsite canteen and laundry but will also be responsible for general cleaning throughout the plant. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role is a genuine all-rounder role and would suit someone who is flexible and hard working.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role will include:
- Organise food orders for the onsite canteen
- Serve employees at the canteen during break times and record their payroll details for payroll deductions
- Provide daily canteen report to the administration and payroll teams
- Operating washers and dryers
- Distributing clothing to employees
- Clean and tidy the canteen kitchen, lunchroom area, and other office areas as required
- Tidy laundry area after production starts and following breaks
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Previous experience in a hospitality setting would be advantageous
- A friendly demeanour and the ability to engage with employees
- A strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a repetitive, fast-paced, production environment.
- An enthusiastic and positive attitude towards work
