The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Sydney-based Account Director to join our growing team.

You'll be a strategic thinker,



an exceptional communicator and a natural relationship builder who enjoys leading both clients and people. You'll play a key role in shaping communications strategies, driving outstanding results and mentoring the next generation of PR professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead a portfolio of client accounts, acting as the primary strategic adviser and day-to-day client lead

- Develop integrated communications strategies aligned with client objectives and commercial outcomes

- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders through proactive counsel and strategic thinking

- Lead client meetings, campaign planning sessions, presentations and quarterly reviews

- Develop creative campaign ideas, partnerships and activations that generate genuine cut-through

- Drive earned media strategy across print, digital, broadcast, podcasts and social media.

- Build and nurture relationships with journalists, editors, producers, influencers and content creators across travel, hospitality, tourism, food, lifestyle, business and property media

- Identify emerging trends and news opportunities that create value for clients.

- Lead hotel openings, media launches, press trips, influencer stays, partnerships and events, including occasional interstate and international travel

- Oversee campaign reporting, measurement and strategic recommendations

- Mentor and inspire junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive team culture

- Support agency growth through new business opportunities,



proposals and presentations

- Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and expand agency services

About You

You'll bring:

- 6-15 years' experience in public relations, communications or a related discipline, ideally within an agency.

- Previous experience leading client accounts and managing a team

- Exceptional client management and presentation skills

- Outstanding media relations skills and a strong understanding of Australia's media and influencer landscape

- Excellent writing, communication and strategic thinking skills

- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify opportunities that add value for clients

- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence

- Experience across travel, hospitality, tourism, lifestyle or luxury brands will be highly regarded

- A degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field
