Compas is seeking a Senior Salesforce Environment Manager to join a Federal Government Department for a long-term engagement. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the Salesforce platform environments, deployments, and operational excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing the end-to-end release lifecycle, ensuring platform stability, and driving continuous improvement across the Salesforce ecosystem.
Initial contract till August 2027 + extensions
NV1 Clearance or the ability to obtain one quickly
QLD, ACT, VIC and NSW

Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work closely with Developers, Testers, Project Managers, Architects, Cyber Security, and Business Analysts to support both project delivery and business-as-usual operations.
Develop and maintain Salesforce setting plans.
Execute hands-on critical and complex Salesforce administration tasks to support releases, CI/CD deployment, and new project and setting changes.
Troubleshoot Salesforce issues and work with internal teams and vendor partners to resolve them.
Manage and coordinate Salesforce deployments across lower and production environments using approved release and change management.




Manage support tickets with Salesforce & maintain platform security.
Seek out automation opportunities for improved management of the Salesforce landscape.

Desired Skills and Experience
Certified Salesforce Administrator with experience working within the Salesforce ecosystem including administration, configuration, and platform support
Salesforce product knowledge, and a solid understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules)
Experience with Salesforce integration and Connected applications including API based integration and troubleshooting integration related incidents
