Ming Dining is a premium Cantonese restaurant located in the heart of Melbourne CBD. We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Dim Sum & Fryer Cook to join our kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities
· Prepare and steam dim sum, dumplings, and other traditional Cantonese dishes to recipe standards
· Operate deep fryer station, ensuring food is cooked safely, consistently, and to quality standards
· Maintain proper portion control and presentation for all dishes
· Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepared in advance for service
· Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak periods
· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, equipment, and storage areas
· Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
· Assist with opening and closing procedures of the kitchen

Requirements
· Minimum 1 year experience as a Cook in a Chinese restaurant (Cantonese cuisine preferred)
· Experience operating steamers and deep fryers in a commercial kitchen
· Basic knowledge of Chinese ingredients, sauces, and cooking techniques
· Fluent in English AND Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) to communicate effectively with the team
· Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced kitchen setting
· Strong attention to detail and food quality
· Available to work evening shifts and weekends
· Valid working rights in Australia

Pay: $27.00 – $36.00 per hour
