About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Payroll Officer to join a high-performing team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has a robust eye for detail and is passionate about delivering accurate and timely payroll services. You'll play a key role in ensuring employees are paid correctly while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, industrial instruments and internal processes.

Key Responsibilities
Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time.
Manage current starter setups, employee changes and maintenance of employee records.
Calculate and process termination payments.
Ensure payroll activities comply with company policies, awards,



enterprise agreements and legislative requirements.
Respond to employee payroll enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Assist with payroll reporting and month-end activities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within payroll processes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience processing end-to-end payroll.
Experience working with large or complex workforces, including award and timesheet-based employees.
Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
The ability to prioritise competing deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
Strong systems experience, with exposure to payroll and HRIS platforms highly regarded.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
Solid communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
