About the role This is a part time position in a very busy South American restaurant. Our fully licensed restaurant specializes in South American cuisine. Our menu showcases the freshest ingredients and your experience and ideas will bring this to life with cutting-edge dishes that change seasonally. The position is full time, consisting of 38 hrs per week.

Your Role The main duties include:

Food preparation and cooking, plating, presentation

Menu development and costing

Replenishing stock and stock control

Cleaning work area and other kitchen cleaning duties as the role requires

Training of kitchen support staff as required





Management of kitchen support staff as required

We’re looking for candidates with the following attributes:

Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays

Passionate about food and providing high standards of foodservice

Positive attitude and ability to thrive under pressure

Excellent team player

Minimum Two years experience in a similar role.

Undertake the training of staff as required.
