Auto Electricians

We’re on the lookout for 3 skilled and reliable Auto Electricians to join our busy mechanical workshop based in Welshpool.

If you’re someone who takes pride in your work, can think on your feet, and enjoys a mix of workshop and hands on fault finding, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on a range of heavy vehicles and equipment
Installing and maintaining electrical systems, accessories, and components
Working alongside our mechanical team to keep jobs moving efficiently
Carrying out breakdown diagnostics and troubleshooting
Electrical rewiring, modifications and harnessing as required
Proficient in reading and understanding wiring diagrams, OEM manuals and schematics
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Work locally in Welshpool – Monday to Friday, 10hr days, finish at 3pm!

About You
Trade-qualified Auto Electrician
Experience with heavy vehicles, trucks, or machinery including CAT, Sandvik, Normet, Volvo and Epiroc (highly regarded)
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Motivated, technically minded, enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic
Proactive, safety conscious,



team player who is also able to work autonomously as required
Take pride in quality workmanship and maintaining a clean, safe work area
Demonstrate a willingness to train apprentices and transfer your knowledge and skills
Must be able to pass pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screen
Must have full Rights to Work in Australia

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Australian Certificate III Automotive Electrical Technology
Current Australian C Class Driver’s License
Refrigeration Handlers’ License (preferred)
Must have experience maintaining and/or rebuilding underground mining equipment
Forklift License
