About the role
We're looking for a reliable, customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team. This is a permanent position, and we're open to either full-time or part-time hours to suit the right candidate. You'll be the friendly face of our showroom — assisting customers, processing sales, and helping keep the store running smoothly.
Your day-to-day
Welcoming customers and providing helpful, honest product advice
Processing sales, quotes and payments accurately at the point of sale
Receiving stock, maintaining displays and keeping the showroom presentable
Managing basic inventory and assisting with stock ordering
Liaising with our service department to coordinate customer repairs and pick-ups
Answering phone and email enquiries in a professional manner
What we're looking for
A positive, professional attitude and strong customer service skills
Reliability and a willingness to learn about our product range
Good communication and basic computer/point-of-sale skills
An interest in outdoor power equipment, gardening or mechanical products (an advantage, but not essential — full training provided)
A current driver's licence
Availability to work Saturday mornings on a rostered basis
