Position Available: As a key member of the Solid Home Solutions team, you will work directly alongside our Site Supervisor to deliver high-quality carpentry services for residential and commercial properties across Alice Springs and remote NT communities. In this role, you’ll be responsible for surface preparation, assembling structural frameworks, and installing timber fixtures—ensuring every project is completed to our exacting standards and on schedule.

Responsibilities
1. Interpreting plans and specifications, preparing materials, and carrying out all aspects of carpentry work, including framing, fixing, fit-out, finishing, and renovations
2. Constructing and installing wall and floor systems, roofs, stairs, doors, windows, and associated hardware
3. Coordinating day-to-day site workflow, supervising apprentices, and liaising with other trades to keep projects on schedule
4. Managing tools, materials, and equipment on site, and ensuring work meets quality and safety standards
5. Maintaining clean, organised, and safe worksites at all times

Requirements
1. AQF IV plus 1 year of relevant full-time experience or 3 years of relevant full-time experience.
2. Solid attention to detail and a proven commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
3. Capable of working independently, managing tasks effectively, and meeting project deadlines.
