Laynhapuy Homelands Aboriginal Corporation (Laynha) is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to support the delivery of itsRemote Jobs and Economic Development (RJED) Program, ensuring contractual, compliance, and performance requirements are met.
About Us
Laynha is a not-for-profit organisation that has supported 30 homeland communities in East Arnhem Land for over 40 years. We deliver a wide range of essential services, including healthcare, aged care, housing, community services, and land and sea management.
About the RJED Program
The program delivers meaningful employment, skills development, and economic participation outcomes for remote communities, with a strong focus on cultural safety and supporting participants’ social and emotional wellbeing.
About the Role
Operational Leadership Oversee and support the delivery of the program in line with NIAA requirements.
Workforce Supervision Provide supervision and support to the RJED team, including workforce planning.
Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain solid relationships with employers, industry partners, training providers,
and government agencies.
Financial and Resource Management Monitor the program budget, expenditure, and contribute to financial and acquittal reporting.
Compliance, Reporting, and Risk Management Prepare, submit, and maintain accurate reports, records, and data for NIAA compliance and funding accountability.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Competency in computers and Microsoft Office applications
A current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
Experience working in the Employment Services Industry
