Steelstruct Engineering is seeking two trade qualified Boilermakers to join a project team on a fixed term contract, commencing early September 2026.

We manufacture from our modern, fully equipped workshops strategically located in Henderson (WA) and Rayong (Thailand).
About the Role:
This fixed term contract runs for approximately 3–4 months, commencing early September 2026. The role is drive in drive out (DIDO), based at Pinjar, WA, and is well suited to experienced Boilermakers looking for consistent, well-paid work over the contract period.
You will be required to hold a current, valid stick (MMAW) welding ticket, as a weld test will be conducted as part of the selection process, and to bring a solid, practical trade background to a busy project setting.
Pay & Conditions:
$55 per hour plus overtime penalties
1 hour of travel time each way, paid at the ordinary rate

Fixed term contract of approximately 3–4 months
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday: 10 hours per day (plus 2 hours travel time)
Saturday: 8 hours (plus 2 hours travel time)
Minimum requirements for the role
Australian recognised Trade Certificate with a minimum of 3 years post apprenticeship exposure in an engineering workshop workplace.
Stick (MMAW) welding experience essential – a weld test will be conducted.
Australian work rights are essential for this position.
Own transport and a current driving licence are required to travel to and from Pinjar, WA.
Must supply own standard boilermaker tool kit; all other tools will be provided on site.
Completion of an online induction is required prior to commencing.
Competent with reading, understanding, and interpreting of engineering and shop detail drawings.
Attention to detail, and an ability to produce quality work in line with project requirements.
Good communication, positive attitude.
Ability to pass regular / random drug and alcohol screens.
Must comply with company Quality and Safety systems and processes.
Own transport and WA driving licence essential.
