The Full time Cleaner in Melbourne CBD will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across designated commercial premises. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously while adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
Clean and maintain restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
Empty trash bins and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and kitchens.
Follow a daily cleaning schedule as directed by the Site Supervisor.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Site Supervisor promptly.
Ensure all cleaning equipment and products are used and stored safely.
Comply with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
Participate in toolbox meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Positive communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Physical fitness to perform manual cleaning tasks.
Availability to work full time hours as specified.
