We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our busy kitchen team at our Chadstone Noodle Bar. The successful applicant will be passionate about preparing high-quality meals, maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards, and working efficiently in a quick-paced workplace.
To apply you will need to have a completed Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and over 5 years’ experience as a cook. We are offering $80K to $82K
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook and present a variety of authentic Chinese dishes in accordance with established recipes & quality standards.
Assist with food preparation, portion control and stock rotation.
Ensure all food is prepared and served to a consistently high standard.
Monitor food quality, freshness and presentation.
Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen in accordance with food safety regulations.
Assist with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure effective service during busy periods.
Comply with workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
