As a Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of vehicles. Key Responsibilities:
Perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of light vehicles.
Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical issues.
Perform safety checks and ensure all vehicles meet compliance standards.
Provide accurate estimates for repairs and inform customers of necessary work.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Assist in mentoring apprentices where required.
Keep detailed and accurate records of work performed
Requirements:
Qualified- Light Vehicle Mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or higher).
Previous experience working in a similar role.
Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Experience with wheel alignment and tyre fitting and Balancing.
Air Conditioning License and/or Vehicle Tester License (highly regarded).
Current and valid driver’s license.
