We are currently seeking a Hotel Receptionist to join our team.

This role holds the responsibility for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the hotel’s operations.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, your main responsibilities include:
Greeting clients, visitors and guests in a qualified and courteous manner;
Deal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner whether in person, telephone or email;
Assist in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the hotel's front office;
Effectively manage the daily reconciliation of the hotel's trading;
Responding to guest feedback in an efficient and proactive manner;
Assisting our FOH Team in the restaurant for breakfast, dinner or functions;
Effectively communicating with all departments of the hotel to ensure guest satisfaction is consistently achieved;
Effective coordination of guest arrivals and departures;
Managing guest relations to deliver truly memorable experiences for our guests;




Utilisation of the Front Office system RMS to meet operational needs and produce accurate reports.

To be successful in this role, you will:
Be adaptable to work a mixture of mornings and nights including weekends and on public holidays as per our business demands;
Hands on work ethic and impeccable organisational skills, able to multi-tasks;
Demonstrate authentic customer service, interpersonal & versatile skills in your approach;
Project a professional image and personal presentation at all times;
Handle tasks carefully and correctly – be thorough and exact in details with a sense of urgency;
Excellent organisation and time management;
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite;
Experience with RMS preferred but not essential;
The capability to remain calm and adaptable to pressure;
Trustworthy and maintain confidentiality with a degree of empathy and fairness with all concerned.
