Callide Valley Toyota is looking for experienced Automotive Technicians to come work in a contemporary workshop with the support of a global automotive brand, offering above award remuneration and incentives as well as extensive training opportunities and programs.
Salary range is $75,000 - $80,000 commensurate with experience.
The successful candidate must:
Have an Industry level certification to operate as a Motor Vehicle Mechanic in relevant state, territory or jurisdiction
Have a developed knowledge of the automotive industry and experience in a similar role
Have a current Australian State or Territory manual driver's licence
Tasks & responsibilities:
Provide expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles
Diagnose and repair mechanical components and systems in motor vehicles such as the engine, transmission and suspension systems
Report all necessary work, service or repairs to service manager and record using in-house databases or reporting systems
Provide guidance and training to apprentice service technicians
Maintain an up to date knowledge of all mechanical issues and changes relating to dealer product range
Test drive and conduct final assessments prior to the delivery or return of vehicles to guests
