Mechanical Fitter | Power Generation

UGL Industrials has an chance for Mechanical Fitters with power station experience to join our on‑site maintenance team. This position will support the site in day‑to‑day maintenance activities over a 4‑day week (36 hrs). You will have the option to participate in outages for additional overtime and development opportunities.

This is a residential role with no living‑away‑from‑home provisions or facility for non‑local employees. Local applicants from the Nanango / Kingaroy region are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications & Experience
Previously worked on a power station (preferred)
Australian Recognised Trade Certificate – Mechanical Fitter, Fitter or Fitter & Turner
Construction Industry Induction (white / blue card)
High‑risk work licence – LF, WP preferred but not essential




Nationally accredited Working at Heights certification valid within 3 years
Nationally accredited Confined Space certification valid within 3 years
Driver’s Licence
Ability to work effectively in a small team
High levels of attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Outstanding time management skills

A rigorous pre‑employment medical including drug and alcohol screening will be conducted for short‑listed candidates.
