About the role
This position has been designed to provide an entry level policy development prospect for a UOW student or recent graduate wanting to gain experience.
The intern will be closely supported and mentored to help review, draft and develop aged care policies and procedures. The intern will gain practical hands on experience preparing for internal and external aged care quality standards audits.
You will be working directly with the CEO and Aged Care Senior Manager who share a responsibility for governance.
This is a casual position working out of our Dapto Office.
The successful candidate
The successful candidate will have:
Working towards or completed qualifications in a related degree
Understanding of quality compliance processes
Familiar with the aged care sector
Positive computer skills in Microsoft Office suite
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise work
Ability to adapt to change
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work ethically
Remuneration
Position is subject to award conditions under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 as Social and Community Employee Grade 2 ($45.28 per hour inclusive of casual loading).
