Key Responsibilities Manual Harvesting (Immediate Roles): Safely cut sugar cane by hand using traditional hand tools (machetes/cane knives). Cleaning & Processing: Trim, and clean harvested cane to ensure it meets strict quality standards.
Bundling & Packaging: Accurately weigh and secure the processed cane into exact 10-kilogram bundles. Loading & Logistics: Assist in moving, loading, and securely stacking the 10kg bundles into large transport boxes weighing up to 1,000kg. Requirements & Capabilities
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform repetitive manual labour Weather Resilience: Comfortable working outdoors and indoors in various weather conditions, wet weather (within reason). Attention to Detail: Ability to consistently bundle and tie cane accurately to the required 10kg specification.
Team Player: Solid, cooperative work ethic to work smoothly within a team .
