Job Description
/n About the Role/n
Perth‑based, full‑time (5 days a week) role on a 12‑month contract.
/n
The Subsea Engineer provides subsea engineering support to the Lead Subsea Engineer.
/n
Responsible for optimizing subsea equipment and services planning, costing and operations.
Ideal Candidate Criteria/n
/n
Engineering degree.
/n
Minimum 5 years of drilling and completions related subsea engineering experience.
/n
Working knowledge of industry standards such as DNV, API, ISO, etc.
/n
Experience and demonstrable track record with participation in formal safety assessments (HAZID), HAZOPS and operational risk assessments.
/n
Experience in subsea operations, contractor management, installation planning, and operational improvement.
/n
Solid subsea engineering knowledge, including XT (Christmas tree), IWOCS (Installation Workover Control System), TBIRS (Through BOP Intervention Riser System),
OWIRS (Open Water Intervention Riser System), and ROV systems.
/n
Familiar with Light Well Intervention (LWI) planning and execution.
/n
Skilled in well engineering support, risk management, technical reviews, and safety assurance.
/n
Experienced in tendering, contract management, and supplier engagement.
/n
Proficient in subsea package management, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
/n
Solid stakeholder, supplier, and contractor management skills.
/n
Basic understanding of drilling, completions, and NOPSEMA regulatory requirements.
/n Candidate Eligibility/n
