Integrity Industrial are seeking Technical Officers to join a government department in Stirling.
These positions will support increased laboratory testing activities and are ideal for individuals with experience in laboratory operations, biological specimen processing, and/or molecular biology techniques.
About the Role
Working within a busy laboratory workplace, you will be responsible for supporting testing and diagnostic activities through specimen handling, laboratory processing, and molecular biology techniques.
We are interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:
Handling, cataloguing, and processing animal or biological specimens
Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
Laboratory techniques such as pipetting and PCR
Diagnostic molecular biology procedures
Processing and preparation of animal specimens
Maintaining accurate laboratory records and following established protocols
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience working in a laboratory environment
Experience using laboratory equipment and standard laboratory techniques
Knowledge of molecular biology processes and/or specimen handling
Robust attention to detail and accurate data recording skills
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
A valid Western Australian Driver's Licence
A national police clearance dated within the last 6 months
