Due to continued growth, this well-established water treatment provider is seeking a trade-qualified Service Technician to support both workshop and field operations.
Your New Role
The ideal candidate will hold a trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or Plumbing. In this role, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, commissioning and troubleshooting of water treatment plants and associated equipment.
Your main duties will include:
Performing preventative and corrective maintenance
Diagnosing and repairing faults
Conducting regular equipment inspections
Assisting engineers with the commissioning and start-up of recent plants
Providing on-site technical support
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be considered for this role, you will ideally possess:
Trade qualification
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in servicing and maintaining industrial equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Current driving licence
Flexibility and willingness to travel when required, including occasional overnight travel
Desirable: Experience with water treatment plants and reverse osmosis systems is highly regarded
Previous experience commissioning water treatment systems
Forklift, EWP or confined spaces tickets are highly advantageous
