We have a fantastic prospect for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at the family owned, newly renovated Bracken Ridge Tavern, a multi-faceted fast paced venue situated on Brisbanes's Northside.

This is a full-time position and you will be working at one of Brisbane's most iconic venues, Panama Jack's Steak & Rib House and Two Wise Guys Italian located within our award winning establishment.

We are seeking an individual with a passion for modern cuisine and experience working in a large venue.

Experience required to be considered for the role:
Minimum 2 years' experience in high-volume char-grilling kitchen
Available to work according to business requirements
Ability to deliver a consistently high quality dining experience for our patrons
Excellent knowledge of food hygiene plans and standards, HACCP and food safty
A positive attitude with a solid work ethic and effective communication skills
Work well in a fast-paced environment with a valuable temperament

Responsibilities:
Preparation, cooking and presentation of all food items within the kitchen
Responsible for the overall cleanliness and presentation of the kitchen
Requisition, storage, control and ordering of stock
Care and maintenance of equipment
Assisting in Menu planning
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety practices
Responsible for the daily operation of the kitchen
Assisting in the cleaning of the kitchen including washing up
Attend on and off job training as required
