The Allied Health team at Aberfoyle Park Residential Services is seeking an engaged and enthusiastic Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join the Resthaven family on a permanent part time basis, working 7 days a fortnight.

Responsibilities
Permanent part time basis, 7 days a fortnight, 09:00am to 5:00pm
Assess residents, plan and evaluate programs or treatments




Assess residents with a wide range of acute and chronic disorders and implement appropriate therapy, care planning, and documentation in line with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission standards
Prescribe a delivery of complex pain management involving therapeutic massage and/or equipment designed for pain management
Ensure functional and physical assessments support the resident's level of need to optimise eligible government funding
Participate in continuing education and courses updating Physiotherapy techniques and information
Current AHPRA registration
At least 6 months of experience working in the role of Physiotherapist

Qualifications
Registered Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration (or equivalent)
Experience in aged care and ability to work with older adults
