We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service/Maintenance Supervisor – HVAC&R; to lead our busy service and maintenance team and ensure the efficient operation, servicing, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC&R;) systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior technician with strong technical knowledge, leadership skills and intermediate computer skills to step into an supervisory role.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the HVAC&R; technicians and maintenance team
Plan, schedule, and monitor installation, maintenance, and repair work
Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance
Provide technical support to assist in the diagnosis of complex HVAC&R; system faults
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
Submit reports and liaise with clients to action repair items
Train, mentor, and support team members
Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers and the internal team
Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budgets
Submit maintenance proposals
Respond to emergency maintenance issues when required
Requirements
Trade qualification or certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Mechanical Services.
Proven experience in HVAC maintenance, including supervisory or team leadership experience.
Robust knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC&R; systems.
Ability to read technical drawings and interpret maintenance manuals.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
Current driver's licence.
