GIG Radiology Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Sonographer to join our dedicated team in Traralgon, Victoria. This is an excellent prospect for a skilled professional to be part of a respected healthcare provider in the La Trobe Valley.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including:
General
Musculoskeletal
Vascular
Obstetric
Accurately capture and interpret ultrasound images to assist with clinical diagnosis and treatment.
Maintain comprehensive patient records and documentation in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare specialists to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care.
Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained.
Follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
A tertiary qualification in Medical Sonography.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified Sonographer in a healthcare setting.
High-level technical skills across a broad range of ultrasound procedures.
Strong diagnostic and analytical abilities to accurately transcribe worksheets.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with patients, radiologists, and team members.
A commitment to delivering outstanding patient care and maintaining professional standards.
Flexibility and a proactive attitude to adapt to clinical demands.
