We are looking for a Timber Customer Service & Yard duties to join our team at Rattray & Walker Mitre 10 in Rye, VIC. This is a full time position and will involve assisting customers with their timber requirements & carrying out yard duties.
What you'll be doing
Providing exceptional customer service to our timber customers
Assisting customers with product selection, measurements, and loading
Maintaining the timber yard, including stocking, organizing, and tidying
Supporting the wider Mitre 10 team as needed
What we're looking for
Experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in the timber or hardware industry
Solid communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers
Ability to work in a physical role, including lifting and loading timber
A keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
A positive,
can-do attitude and a willingness to contribute to the team
A current forklift licence is preferred but not essential
