As a Chef at Sushi Honke Brookside, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals and ensuring customer satisfaction through consistent culinary excellence. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting a wide range of dishes, maintaining hygiene standards, and collaborating with the kitchen team to create a smooth and efficient kitchen operation. Duties and Responsibilities You will be responsible for preparing and presenting a wide range of dishes, maintaining hygiene standards, and collaborating with the kitchen team to create a smooth and effective kitchen operation.
Prepare, cook, and present meals according to recipes and quality standards.
Plan menus, estimate food requirements, and manage inventory.
Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation,



and hygiene standards in all kitchen areas.
Monitor food safety compliance and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
Assist in training junior kitchen staff and promoting a positive team setting.
Ensure timely delivery of food during service and maintain presentation standards.
Contribute to recent menu ideas and seasonal specials.

Requirements
Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
Proven 1 year experience working as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations.
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Pay: $79,500.00 per year
