MES are seeking an Exploration Geologist for an immediate start to join a rapidly growing WA gold exploration project located within a highly prospective Eastern Goldfields gold corridor. This prospect offers exposure to large-scale regional exploration programs across a structurally complex and well-endowed gold system with significant resource growth potential. Working within an active exploration team, you will support ongoing drilling, geological interpretation and target generation programs across a combination of near-mine and regional exploration prospects.

Requirements
Tertiary degree in Geology, Geological Science or related field
2 – 5 years’ experience within exploration and/or mining environments
Exposure to gold mineralisation systems and WA gold projects
Experience supervising RC and/or Diamond drilling programs
Competent with geological logging, sampling and QA/QC procedures
Proficient in geological reporting and technical data management




Experience using geological software packages such as Leapfrog, Micromine or similar (desirable)
Robust communication and organisational skills
Current WA “C” Class Driver’s Licence
1st Aid training and 4WD experience (desirable)

Position Duties
Assist with the planning and execution of regional and near-mine exploration programs
Supervise drilling contractors and support daily field operations
Conduct geological logging, sampling and QA/QC procedures
Interpret geological data and contribute to target generation and 3D modelling
Compile technical reports and maintain accurate geological records and databases
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards
Work collaboratively with senior geologists and field teams to deliver exploration outcomes
