Visy Food Can is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our Yatala team. This is an ongoing casual opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent full-time role.
About the Role
Rotating Day Shifts: 6:00am - 6:00pm
Monday to Friday only roster
Working 3 days one week and 4 days the next
Overtime available.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor high-speed production machinery.
Troubleshoot equipment and perform basic mechanical adjustments.
Conduct quality inspections and defect analysis.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Minimise downtime through proactive problem-solving.
Complete production and maintenance records accurately.
About You
Previous machine operating experience in a high-speed FMCG environment.
Experience within food, beverage, packaging, or manufacturing industries.
Robust mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong focus on workplace health and safety.
Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work 12-hour shifts.
Forklift License highly regarded.
