We’re currently partnering with an organisation in Melbourne’s north to appoint an experienced IT Project Manager to deliver a portfolio of medium-sized technology initiatives.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who can step into an active delivery workplace, quickly establish momentum, and work closely with technical and business stakeholders to drive outcomes.

You’ll be working within a collaborative IT project delivery team , reporting into the Technology & Digital Solutions Lead , and will take ownership of planning, coordinating and delivering several concurrent projects.

Duration: Initially 3 months with an opportunity to extend

Rate: $1000-$1100 p/d

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:
Managing the end-to-end delivery of IT and business technology projects
Defining project scope, timelines, milestones and deliverables with sponsors and stakeholders
Coordinating cross‑functional teams across technology and business areas
Providing transparent status reporting and governance updates to senior stakeholders and project boards




Managing project risks, issues and change requests
Supporting teams through process and technology change initiatives
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency following project delivery

You’ll also play a role in investigating technology challenges and identifying practical solutions, working with internal teams and external vendors where required.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role you’ll bring:
5+ years’ experience delivering IT projects in complex organisations
Robust experience managing projects from initiation through to delivery
Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams
Experience using project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence or similar
A structured approach to risk management, reporting and governance
Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments
