We're seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join a leading steel manufacturing business in Mackay that produces quality steel building products used across Australia. Working within a busy manufacturing and distribution setting, you'll play a key role in moving steel products, loading trucks and supporting daily yard operations.

About the Role
As an experienced Forklift Operator, you'll be responsible for safely handling steel products and oversized materials within a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution setting.

Your duties will include:




Operating forklifts to transport steel building products and raw materials
Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
Handling long-length, oversized and non-standard freight
Assisting with load restraint and transport preparation
Performing general yard duties and housekeeping
Supporting warehouse and dispatch operations
Providing occasional customer service and site support when required
Following all safety procedures and site requirements

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current LF Forklift Licence
Previous experience handling steel, timber, piping or oversized products
Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse or yard setting
Ability to safely manage long and awkward loads
Willingness to assist with general labouring duties when required
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screen
