Purpose

As a Public Area Cleaner, you are an key part of our Housekeeping crew, ensuring our shared spaces are clean and well‐maintained. You will work both independently and as part of a team, and enjoy interacting with guests to meet their needs.

The Role
Casual loading on all hourly rates. Base rate $25.85; with loadings: Monday‐Friday $32.31 ph, Saturday $38.78 ph, Sunday $45.24 ph, Public Holidays $64.63 ph.
Adult wages for all team members 16 years and above.
Supportive and fun team environment.

Primary Responsibilities
Ensure the property always looks its best, inside and out.
Maintain cleanliness of indoor and outdoor public areas, including pool, gym, and shared bathrooms, meeting high standards.
Support room attendants with room cleaning and linen removal as needed.
Handle specialised equipment and chemicals safely.
Assist guests with inquiries and security matters,



collaborating with other departments.
Report maintenance or guest service issues promptly.

Skills And Experience
Previous experience in a similar role (cleaner/room attendant/public areas attendant) is a plus.
Warm and welcoming communication style.
Attention to detail, effective time management, and pride in tasks.
Adaptability and physical fitness for indoor and outdoor work.
Team collaboration across diverse backgrounds.
Flexibility for a rotating schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends, and public holidays.
