We're looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable people to join our Happy Feat volunteer family.

Being a Happy Feat Volunteer is about much more than turning up for a dance session. Our volunteers aren't just dance buddies—they're encouragers, cheerleaders, positive role models and teammates who quietly make sure every Happy Feater feels secure, included, supported and celebrated.

You'll help create an setting where every member feels welcomed, included,

valued and encouraged to be their very best.

You don't need dance experience or previous experience supporting people with disability. We'll help you learn what you need to know. What matters most is kindness, patience, positivity and a genuine desire to make a difference. Every volunteer brings unique skills, life experiences and strengths—and every

contribution makes a difference.

What You'll Do

As a Happy Feat Volunteer, you may:

 Welcome members and help create a warm, positive atmosphere.

 Dance alongside our Happy Featers and encourage participation.

 Assist members who may need help learning routines or adapting movements.

 Build genuine friendships and engage with members throughout the evening.





 Help ensure every member feels included and nobody is left out.

 Help resolve issues calmly and respectfully so everyone enjoys the evening.

 Assist with setting up and packing away equipment.

 Support performances, community events and special activities throughout the year.

 Share your own talents and skills, whether that's administration, photography, marketing, event coordination, music, fundraising or behind-the-scenes support.

Time Required

Weekly Dance Sessions, Wednesday evenings during school terms. Approximately 6:15pm - 9:30pm.

Volunteers also participate in a brief team debrief following each session.

Optional opportunities are available throughout the year to assist with performances

and community events.
