Looking for a long‑term role close to home? We’re seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join a high‑performing maintenance team at a large food manufacturing site located just outside Murray Bridge.
This role suits a mechanically solid, hands‑on fitter who enjoys variety, problem‑solving, and working with a supportive, experienced team.

$50–$53/hr base rate
15% shift loading on afternoon shift
Tool, boiler attendance & award allowances
On‑call roster with penalty rates
Reliable, long‑term permanent role
The Role You’ll be responsible for mechanical maintenance across a busy production facility, including:
Preventative & reactive maintenance
Work on conveyors, gearboxes, motors, pumps & processing equipment
Fabrication & welding (MIG essential; TIG/STIG beneficial)
Supporting production teams to minimise downtime
Occasional weekend work (every third weekend) with an RDO during the week
You’ll work a standard 5‑day week with rostered weekends built into the cycle.
About You We’re looking for a fitter with:
Strong experience in heavy industrial or FMCG settings
Confidence working with conveyors, gearboxes, motors & mechanical plant
Welding/fabrication skills (MIG essential)
A proactive, safety‑focused approach
A willingness to learn within a senior, supportive team
