English teacher key responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons across secondary year levels.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing strategies to maximise achievement.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom setting.
Contribute to faculty planning, assessment, and curriculum development.

English teacher key selection criteria
Recognised secondary teaching qualification with NESA accreditation .
Minimum 1–2 years of secondary English teaching experience.
Strong knowledge of curriculum design and assessment practices.




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing.

English teaching conditions
Commencement: Term 4, 2025 (October start)
Contract: Full time, ongoing opportunity
Salary: In line with the NSW Independent Schools Award
