We currently seek a motivated and experienced Trades Assistant to join our modern, well-equipped STAUFF Technology Centre. Reporting to the STC Manager, this role is key to supporting the daily workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance of hydraulic and work shop equipment
Tube bending and manipulation
Hose and accumulator assembly and packaging
Assist in general warehouse duties as required Secure and efficient operation of workshop equipment
Manual handling
Assist tradespeople on workshop floor
Maintain a safe, orderly and clean workshop at all times
Selection Criteria:
Mechanical aptitude - mechanical/hydraulic trade qualifications - desirable
Experience in hydraulic or allied fields - desirable
Ability to meet deadlines and excellent attention to detail
Self-motivated and ability to accept responsibility
Good written and verbal communication
Solid time management and ability to prioritise
Current drivers licence
Current forklift licence
Adherence and commitment to safe operational practices
