Casual Catering Assistants & Kitchenhands – Queensland & Brisbane Region

$27.09 per hour + 25% casual loading Weekday daytime shifts (some evenings)
with occasional weekend shifts available

The Prospect

We’re expanding our casual pool and seeking reliable Catering Assistants and Kitchenhands to support our busy sites across Queensland. If you enjoy fast‑paced environments, take pride in your work, and want flexibility across multiple locations, this is a great fit.

The Role
Assist with daily food preparation and service
Prepare sandwiches, salads and fresh menu items
Support chefs with meal service and general kitchen duties
Dishwashing and maintaining a clean, protected kitchen
Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures
Manage stock, minimise waste and support peak service periods

This casual pool supports multiple sites across:

Brisbane | Brisbane Airport | Toowoomba | Sunshine Coast | Gold Coast

For airport, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast roles, reliable transport (public or own)

About You
Friendly, reliable and team‑focused
Experience as a Catering Assistant, Kitchenhand or in high‑volume hospitality
Valuable food prep and presentation skills
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene
Able to obtain or already hold: National Police Check & Blue Card
Weekday availability (Mon–Fri)
