Protech are seeking an experienced Loader Operator for an immediate start at a busy quarry operation located in Ormeau on the northern Gold Coast. This is a hands-on role suited to an operator with demonstrated quarry or mining experience, a strong commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to consistently achieve production and performance targets.

Pre-employment medical completed including Drug and Alcohol screening

ABOUT THE ROLE
Immediate starts available
Full time hours casual Mon to Fri, with ability to work 5.5 days per week
Minimal wet weather interruptions
Ordinary hours $42.26 + Overtime rates

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate a Front-End Loader fitted with onboard scale systems
Load and stockpile quarry materials in line with site requirements
Work effectively in a team environment
Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
Robust work ethic and commitment to safety

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED




Valid Driver’s Licence with own reliable transport – mandatory
Previous quarry, civil, or mining experience – mandatory
Mobile plant tickets (Loader, Dump Truck) – advantageous
