We are currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support APD Global across a broad range of HR functions, with a strong focus on employee relations and performance management.

Role Overview
As an HR Advisor, you will partner with leaders and managers across APD Global to provide both operational and strategic HR support.
You will play a key role in delivering people initiatives, advising on employee relations matters, and supporting performance management processes.
This position acts as a trusted advisor to leaders, ensuring HR practices align with business objectives while maintaining compliance with Australian employment legislation.
You will also support workforce transitions and contribute to fostering a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Performance Management
Provide practical HR advice and guidance to managers on performance management and employee relations matters
Support leaders in managing performance reviews, development plans, and ongoing employee performance conversations
Assist in resolving workplace issues,
including facilitating discussions and supporting conflict resolution processes
Provide early intervention strategies to address performance concerns and minimise escalation
Workforce Transitions & Terminations
Support managers in handling workforce changes, including restructures and terminations
Ensure all processes are conducted fairly, consistently, and in line with Australian employment legislation
Assist with documentation, process coordination, and compliance requirements related to terminations
Conduct exit interviews and provide insights to support continuous improvement
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure HR practices comply with the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards (NES), and relevant Modern Awards
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation
Monitor employee relations trends and provide insights to support proactive HR strategies
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
4–7+ years of HR experience, particularly in employee relations and performance management
Experience supporting employee relations cases and workplace investigations
Working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act and NES
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and sound judgement
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Membership or certification with the Australian HR Institute (AHRI) (e.g., CAHRI)
Experience in a consulting or client-facing HR environment
Exposure to multi-state employment legislation across Australia
