Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and working closely within the Finance team, this role plays a key part in delivering high-quality financial services across our diverse portfolio of businesses.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys partnering with operational teams and contributing to the commercial success of a fast-paced supermarket retail environment.
We are looking for an experienced, proven, proactive and analytical professional who can think critically, solve problems confidently, and communicate effectively across all levels of the business.

Skills Required
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CA qualified preferred)
Proven experience in management accounting
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
Experience preparing,
reporting and presenting annual budgets
Demonstrated ability to review processes and drive improvements
Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency across Microsoft Office
Experience with Sage Intacct, desirable but not essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to build effective working relationships across diverse teams
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly KPI reporting
Complete month-end financial reporting, including journals, accruals and general ledger integrity checks
Lead and support annual budget and forecast preparation and analysis
Conduct detailed financial analysis of store operations and projects
Assist with BAS preparation and compliance requirements
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Identify and implement process and system improvements across the Group
Contribute to finance-related project work
