We are keen to connect with ICU Registrars interested in joining a major metropolitan teaching hospital in Adelaide.
This is a full-time training-focused role within a structured mixed medical–surgical Intensive Care Unit.
The unit offers strong peri-operative and cardiac critical care exposure within a consultant-led and well-supported environment.
This role will appeal to trainees seeking recognised metropolitan ICU training with meaningful cardiac case mix.
The ICU & Hospital
This is a major Adelaide teaching hospital operating within a busy metropolitan health network.
The Intensive Care Unit provides:
• Mixed medical–surgical ICU capability
• Advanced ventilatory and organ support
• Strong peri-operative integration
• Significant cardiac critical care exposure
• Close collaboration with Anaesthetics and Surgery
• Multidisciplinary specialist support
The unit isCICM accredited for Limited General Training (G6) and Cardio, reflecting structured supervision and recognised training standards in cardiac critical care.
Registrars work within a consultant-led model with consistent senior presence and clear escalation pathways.

Requirements
• Eligible for registration with AHPRA
• ICU or critical care experience preferred
