Our client is a leading utility company who is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Technology Product Manager to own and deliver an enterprise infrastructure roadmap within a complex technology environment.
This is a 12-month initial contract with the option to extend or possibly convert to permeant.
In this role you'll be working closely with Architecture, Engineering, Operations, and Project Delivery teams, translating technology risk, end-of-life, capacity planning, and business priorities into a strategic roadmap.
This role combines product management, portfolio planning, business analysis, and stakeholder engagement to ensure infrastructure investments deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the Infrastructure Technology roadmap, ensuring initiatives are prioritised by business value
Develop project briefs, business cases, and governance documentation to support project delivery
Partner with Architecture, Engineering, Operations, and Project Managers to shape technology initiatives
Translate risk, end-of-life, capacity planning, and modernisation requirements into strategic investment plans
Support infrastructure delivery across cloud, compute, network, storage, and end-user technologies
Develop service estimates, costing,
and delivery inputs for technology initiatives
Engage with business and technical stakeholders to align technology investments with organisational priorities
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to improve technology capability and value
Key Requirements
5+ years' experience in Product Management, Portfolio Management, Business Analysis, or Technology Strategy roles
Experience developing and managing enterprise technology roadmaps
Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, including cloud, networking, compute, storage, and end-user platforms
Experience preparing project briefs, business cases, and governance documentation
Solid commercial, financial, and stakeholder management skills
Experience working across Architecture, Engineering, and Project Delivery teams
Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments
Highly Regarded
Product Management certification (CSPO, SAFe POPM or similar)
Project Management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM)
ITIL or COBIT experience
Experience within utilities, critical infrastructure, or other regulated industries
